Unique visitors to Pinterest grew by 155% from December 2011 to January 2012.
It is growing in popularity as one of the fastest growing, hottest social networking opportunities today. And the big question is, how can you use this fact for market in your business?
Early research is showing that Pinterest may even be more effective that Facebook in driving high-voilume traffic to your website. For example, in October 2011, the Time Inc Real Simple magazine received more traffic from Pinterest than Facebook, and eye glass retailer Warbly Parker says that 11% of their social media traffic is coming from Pintereste compared to 18% from Twitter.
Other large Online marketing companies are also finding that are getting more referrals from Pinterest than Google + as well.
